FluxCore Desktop App
Turn your PC into a FluxEdge compute provider. Install, benchmark, and start earning FLUX.
FluxCore β Contribute Your GPU & CPU
FluxCore is a desktop application that turns your personal computer into a FluxEdge compute provider. Install it, enable your GPU and/or CPU, and start earning FLUX tokens when your resources are rented by FluxEdge users.
System Requirements
- β’Operating Systems: Windows 10/11, Linux (Ubuntu 20.04+), macOS
- β’GPU: NVIDIA GPU recommended (CUDA support). See supported driver list below.
- β’RAM: 8 GB minimum
- β’Internet: Stable broadband connection
Installation
- 1
Download FluxCore
Get the installer from the official Flux website for your operating system.
- 2
Install NVIDIA drivers
For GPU contribution, ensure you have a compatible NVIDIA driver installed. FluxCore supports a specific list of driver versions.
- 3
Run the installer
Follow the installation wizard. On Windows, you may need to allow through Windows Defender.
- 4
Log in
Sign in with your Flux identity (ZelCore, SSP, or MetaMask).
- 5
Enable resources
Toggle on GPU and/or CPU contribution in the machine settings.
Dashboard Features
- β’Home: Overview of earnings, active sessions, and machine status
- β’Machines: View and manage each machine individually
- β’Machine Overview: Resource utilization, uptime, and health status
- β’Benchmark: Hardware benchmark results (GPU compute, memory bandwidth, CPU)
- β’Hardware: Detailed hardware specifications detected by FluxCore
- β’Mining: View mining/compute earnings and history
Supported NVIDIA Drivers
FluxCore requires specific NVIDIA driver versions for GPU support. Check the official FluxCore documentation for the current supported driver list. Generally, drivers from the last 6 months are supported. Update your driver if FluxCore doesn't detect your GPU.
FluxCore is designed to run in the background with minimal impact on your daily computer use. You can set resource limits to prevent it from using all available GPU/CPU power.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| GPU not detected | Update NVIDIA drivers to a supported version. Ensure CUDA is installed. |
| Low earnings | Earnings depend on demand. Keep your machine online and available during peak hours. |
| App crashes on Windows | Run as Administrator. Check Windows Defender exclusions. |
| Connection issues | Check firewall settings. FluxCore needs outbound internet access. |
